As you know if you’ve been reading my posts these last couple of months, the Association for Research on Mothering was forced to close due to lack of financial support from their host university. I am so pleased to help spread the good news that ARM has now been re-born as the Motherhood Initiative for Research and Community Involvement (MIRCI). Founder Andrea O’Reilly and coordinator Renee Knapp will continue to publish cutting-edge articles in their journal as well as a variety of mothering titles through Demeter Press.
