…is now online! After some community organizing, emailing, and letter-writing this past year, I have started a blog/site for the Kansas chapter. The Feminist Art Project (TFAP) is an international collaborative initiative celebrating the Feminist Art Movement and the aesthetic, intellectual and political impact of women on the visual arts, art history, and art practice, past and present. The project is a strategic intervention against the ongoing erasure of women from the cultural record. TFAP promotes diverse feminist art events, education and publications through its website and online calendar and facilitates networking and regional program development throughout the world. The TFAP website can be accessed here: http://feministartproject.rutgers.edu/home/
The Kansas Chapter site will highlight exhibitions of interest around the state and will profile area arts feminists through photos and interviews. If you are interested in having your work or your scholarship featured, please contact your friendly KS TFAP coordinator, Rachel Epp Buller, at rachel@ddtr.net
