New release: Academic Motherhood

We arrived home from a trip yesterday to a lovely surprise in the mailbox: my contributor’s copy of Academic Motherhood in a Post-Second Wave Context: Challenges, Strategies and Possibilities, edited by D. Lynn O’Brien Hallstein and Andrea O’Reilly. My essay explores the integration of the personal and professional during the early childhood years. The book is much bigger than I’d expected, nearly 500 pages, and I can hardly wait to read the other 23 essays. Hooray for summer reading! (To buy a copy, click here.)
