Last week I had the opportunity to take another course at the Frogman’s Printmaking Workshop at the University of South Dakota. They recruit incredibly talented teachers from around the country to teach the courses and this year’s may be my favorite yet. Cerese Vaden taught a class called “Inside the Box,” which explored a variety of book and box structures, creation and alteration. I came home with a lot of work completed and a lot more in-progress to continue on with. The intense week of art-making, early morning til midnight each day, makes it feel a lot like art camp. Hooray for creative summer camp for adults!
